Instrument #187, a Guarneri model 5-string, was completed in June 2011.  The top wood is Idaho Engelmann Spruce that Frank harvested near McCall, Idaho.  The back, sides and neck are made from Pennsylvania Silver Maple that Frank purchased from the hardwood store in Eagle, ID.  This instrument has a wonderful even tone and sold at the Darrington, Washington bluegrass festival in July.
