| #169 is a 4-string Guarneri model that was custom made in March 2009 for a professional musician who plays for a country band. The one-piece back, the sides and the neck are made from big leaf maple that Frank purchased from Bay Woods near Port Townsend, WA. The top wood is Engelmann spruce that Frank harvested in central Idaho north of Brundage Mountain. This instrument has a beautiful deep tone that is very clear and even. |
