| #158 is a 4-string Guarneri model completed in May 2008. The back, sides and neck on this instrument are a nicely figured quilted maple that came from the Washington coast. The top wood is Englemann spruce that came from Idaho north of Brundage Mountain in central Idaho. This fiddle has a very pleasing tone and is well balanced on all four strings. This deep red brown colored instrument is making its debut at the CBA Father’s Day bluegrass festival in Grass Valley, California. |
