| #156, a 4-string, was completed in March 2008. This instrument was custom made for David Kuntz of Illinois. David plays for barn dances and various other events in his area. Top wood for this Guarneri model is Idaho Englemann Spruce cut by Frank near Brundage Ski Area just outside McCall, ID. The back wood, sides and neck are made from a piece of beautifully figured Big Leaf Maple Frank purchased from Bay Woods, Port Townsend, Washington. |
