| #107. The back, sides and neck wood that this fiddle was made from is Carolina Poplar taken from the Saras Family Farm east of Shoshone, Idaho. The top wood is Englemann spruce cut from the Idaho mountains north of the Brundage Mountain snow ski area. The fiddle was made from a Guarnerius pattern. The color of this fiddle is a yellow-brown orange mixture. It has nice volume and has a pleasant tone that projects well. It is set up with Prim steel strings. This instrument sold at a festival in Bullhead City, Arizona. |
